Event Policy

1. Event Planning

  • Chef's Counter will work closely with the client to plan the event, including menu selection and event logistics.

  • A pre-event consultation may be conducted to finalize details and ensure the client's needs are met.

 

2. On the Day of the Event

  • The chef will arrive 30 minutes prior to the event start time to set up.

  • The client and guests will participate in the cooking process of the dish or dishes agreed prior with the chef.

  • After the meal, the chef will clean the kitchen and ensure the dishes are safely placed inside the dishwasher if available.


3. Client Responsibilities

  • Ensure the kitchen is clean and ready for use.

  • Provide necessary kitchen equipment and utensils, as agreed with the chef.

  • Free up space in the refrigerator as requested.

  • Allow access to the kitchen for a pre-event assessment if needed.

  • Set up the table for their guests, unless otherwise agreed prior with the chef

  • Ensure kids are kept at a safe distance during the cooking class and food preparation

 

4. Event Duration

  • The event will run for a maximum of 4 hours, excluding the initial set up.

  • Any additional hour will incur a surcharge of $200 per hour, to be paid on the spot, as decided by the chef.
